Seminar Tip for Female Advisors #2: Marketing the Calendar

The most powerful marketing tool female financial advisors will ever use for business growth is marketing their event calendar.

When I hosted my events, everyone I knew would get my event calendar. I even handed it to people I just met and said, “Hey, by the way, why don’t you come to one of my events? I think you’d really like this one.”

My events happened twice a month, every month, so that I could send out a quarterly calendar of my upcoming events. Delivering consistent events every month is so critical to your success as a financial advisor. When people receive your event invitations over and over again, they are thinking, “Wow, this must be working. The women’s event must be really good!” Consistent event marketing validates you as an advisor who makes an impact with women.

3 steps to make events a powerful marketing tool:

  1. Commit to delivering regular seminars for three months.
  2. Create a beautifully designed calendar card to engage and intrigue more interest in your event. Include your mission statement or “Why women story”; it must be authentic. On the back are your upcoming events.
  3. Everywhere you go, share your calendar card. Print out cards to hand to everybody, even a woman you started talking to in the grocery store. Share the digital image on social media and send it to your newsletter.

A successful calendar card is so classy and engaging people don’t want to throw it away because they are not sure whether they can come in three months or not! When you understand the multiple marketing and prospecting benefits of an event program, you’ll leverage your efforts, enhance your results, and exceed expectations about the incredible benefits of a good seminar program.
