Oh yeah, there are some BIG shifts going on. I absolutely LOVE it when my clients (mostly female financial advisors) begin to shed the industry protocol, peel back the limiting beliefs and really start to thing BIGGER. When this happens is when dramatic growth occurs. I have about 5 client situations right now that are truly exhilarating, it’s as if I’m physically watching these women transform from industry designed penguins to the beautiful successful peacocks they are.
One woman is now telling everyone she can only accept 10 new multi million dollar clients this year and she is already seeing the impact both financially and personally. Another woman is finally willing to turn clients away recognizing they are not ideal for her practice, while a part of her feels badly once I give her the verbiage she is so relieved once she does it. Another younger woman is transitioning from an admin position in two more months. While she is a bit overwhelmed still managing her old position she is totally embracing her new role as a woman’s wealth advisor. She is becoming a total expert reading every book she can get her hands on to make herself more conscious of what makes women tick. She is really excited about launching something completely different than everyone else.
That’s not all, I have another client who is working with myself and my partner Betty, not only is she finally discovering who she is as a woman she is working on being a much better mother and financial advisor. The progress she makes in her personal life immediately translates to her business, amazing. Or how about another woman, she too is young and independent and is launching my new seminar Savvy Women Invest ON Purpose next week and she couldn’t be more energized. She is finally committed to targeting the female client and there will be no stopping her.
This is what makes my job as a coach to financial advisors amazing. This is why when people talk about retiring I think WHY? Why would I ever want to give this up? These women continue to be my inspiration; they are my purpose and passion in life.
